Innovative Barrel-Aging Partnerships: The Story of Oaked Coffee Company

Here at Oaked Coffee Company, we are fueled by passion and a desire to push the boundaries. After collaborating with local brewers and distillers on barrel-aging projects, we identified a gap in the market for aged coffee options, both locally and nationally. We came up with the idea of aging our green coffee beans with oak spirals infused with bourbon, whiskey, and rum. This process allows for the infusion of subtle flavor hints and aromas from the various spirits, elevating the standard cup of coffee to new heights. Oaked Coffee Company was established through an MBA program at Colorado State University, and with the assistance of an exceptional capstone team, we knew this would be an exciting and viable venture.
